Dolma Impact Fund Invests Over Rs 450 Million in 22 MW Seti Khola Hydropower Project

The company through its second private equity fund named ‘Dolma Impact Fund Il’ is investing its own capital in the project, which is being constructed by Seti Hydro Power Pvt Ltd in Musetoda of Kaski district.
Of the estimated cost of Rs 5.50 billion for the hydel project, 75 percent will be generated from loans, while the remaining 25 percent will be managed from equity capital. According to Dolma Impact Fund, the company has decided to invest 49 percent of the equity, while 30 percent will be collected from the general public and the rest will be contributed by the founders.

Jogmai Cascade Hydroelectric Project (5.2 MW)

Jogmai Cascade HEP is a cascade RoR type of scheme located just d/s of Jogmai khola small Hydroelectric Project-7.6 MW in Maijogmai rural municipality-3, Illam district of Nepal. The entire project component lies on right bank of Jogmai Khola within Maijogmai Rural Municipality. SEL has obtained survey license for Jogmai Cascade Hydropower Project in 2014 A.D. The feasibility study on the project was completed in 2018 A.D. Likewise; the initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Report on the project has been prepared. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) concluded with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on 2075/5/7 with installed capacity of 6 MW but its amendment letter has been received in 2075/01/27 for revised installed capacity of 5.2 MW.
